Dr. Wald has the expertise, training and motivation necessary to mentor young faculty and trainees in the conduct of their research areas. He has a broad background in gastroenterology with a particular emphasis on gastrointestinal disorders. Wald has published over 270 articles, chapters and reviews, approximately half in peer reviewed journals of high calibre. He has mentored dozens of trainees and junior faculty in research projects ranging from disorders of motility, functional GI disorders and inflammatory bowel diseases.
